TN CM opens Chennai Outer Ring Road and several other bridges
Chennai Outer Ring road
Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalitha opened the Outer Ring Road Phase-1(27 Kms from Mannivakkam to Nemilichery) worth 1081 crores and 40 lakhs rupees from Chief Secretariat through Television. She also inaugrated the construction of Outer Ring Road Phase-2(30.5 Kms from Nemilichery to Minjur) worth 1075 crores.
She also opened 34 bridges and 2 railway bridges in several districts including Vellore,Kanchipuram,
Thiruvannamalai, and Vizhupuram. Total expenditure for these bridges are around 129 crores and 49 lakhs rupees. She opened buildings worth 1 crore in districts of Thirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Thirupur, Vizhupuram.
She issued jobs for kins of 16 deceased people during their work period.
It is estimated that bridges which were opened and inaugurated by Chief Minister J Jayalaitha are worth to be 2,286 crores and 91 lakhs rupees.
